Sapir Shpigel is an entrepreneur who aims to innovate the co-working world by creating the bridge between a co-working space to an accelerator.
While not at Merkspace she loves to travel and sleeping in on the weekends.
What are you working on these days?
I co-Founded Merkspace a year and a half ago and since then, it’s what I do every day.
My days are very intense, but very interesting.
It’s unbelievable how many new and super cool people I get to meet on a daily basis.
What was your first position In the Startup-Nation?
Co-Founding Fiterz 4 years ago. It was a dating app that allowed you to meet single friends of your mutual friends.
What was your first job ever?
What life event or moment affected your life the most?
What affected my life the most was moving to Slovenia at the age of 13 and spending 5 years of my childhood there.
It was the first time I was forced out of my comfort zone.
I had to deal with real challenges such as language barriers, new environments and making new friendships.
Looking back, it was the best thing I could ask for.
The experience made me broaden my horizons and enabled me to meet and learn about so many different cultures from my classmates.
Best advice you received or would like to share?
Rules are made to be broken.
Use your creativity to come up with solutions and never give up.
Keep calm, and at peace, there is always a way to win.
