Liron has a bachelor degree in computer science which she acquired during her high school. She served for 6 years in an elite cyber army unit while learning for her MSC and specializing in AI and machine learning. She is Co-founder and CEO of Bitdam, where she works alongside her husband, Maor.
Maor has vast experience in the cyber world from an elite cyber army unit, in addition to a master’s degree in computer science. Maor is CTO of Bitdam, leading the technological and product aspects of the company.
What are you working on these days?
We are a husband and wife duo working together as Co-founders of Bitdam, a cyber startup, BitDam solutions aims to detect and prevent cyber attacks.
What was your first position In the Startup-Nation?
Maor began his tech career 10 years ago as programmer at a security startup. This is my first venture ever into the startup world.
What was your first job ever?
We have both been working in the cyber world for years. Maor’s first job was a freelance programmer and mine was a software developer and researcher at 8200, focused on cyber.
What life event or moment affected your life the most?
I began studying for my Bachelor’s degree when I was only 14, which showed me that everything is possible, as long as you put your mind to it.
For Maor, the first lecture he gave in front of a big audience was the first time he did something out of his comfort zone, and really liked it.
Best advice you received or would like to share?
My advice is consulting with others is very helpful. As a founder you have to do this all the time, but don’t forget your intuition! It’s the most important part of the equation.
Maor is always saying to stay focused – you should always consider “is what i’m doing right now serving my end goal?”
